Jef outlines vision to turn Kep into high-end tourism, investment destination

Jef Moons, Founder and CEO of Knai Bang Chatt by Kep West, Wednesday outlined a long-term vision to transform Kep into a high-end tourism and investment destination anchored in sustainability, wellness, culture and low-density coastal development.
The confirmation was made during a meeting with local media outlets in Kep province on January 21.
Jef said that in the coming years, the priority is to fully realise that the Kep West beachfront, scale the wellness and culinary concepts, and deliver the KEP Exhibition Plaza together with the SEA Ocean Gallery as the flagship anchors of Kep’s cultural coastline.
“A larger mangrove protection and community-based eco-tourism initiative is also being considered as part of the next development cycle in Kep province,” he said.
He explained that with several hectares of strategic coastal and park-side land, there is room for additional low-density hospitality projects, branded residences, new resorts and commercial or mixed-use living spaces, always conceived as hybrid models that weave in culture, wellness and the ‘Art for Kep’ programme.....
