About the Role
We are recruiting an experienced Purchasing Manager to join the Kep West team. The successful candidate will develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies to achieve cost savings for all goods and services without compromising on quality.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Secure products and services at the best possible pricing without compromising on quality or service
Consolidate purchases to achieve maximum economic benefit.
Liaise between suppliers and restaurants to ensure their needs are being met.
Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers.
Negotiate and agree contracts, monitoring the quality of service and product provided.
Work with the Growzer purchasing and stock management system that integrates purchasing, menu engineering and stock control.
Ensure the companies purchasing systems are up to date with products and pricing to facilitate its smooth operation at restaurant level.
Train and supervise the work of other members of staff.
The successful candidate profile should include:
Computer literate, experience of working online and using office suite software
Have experience in the hospitality industry
Demonstrate openness and respect for others and be a team player
Continually work to develop your own capabilities and the capabilities of others
Have excellent communication skills in Khmer and English, both speaking and writing
Communicate effectively to ensure transparency on all matters
